Totally understand and sorry to hear that you couldn't play our game. This was something highly discussed with the team, based on all the feedback. Was our first game jam and we went pretty all out that we didn't consider everything in the 48 hours.

There is actually a gameplay video in case you are interested in what the game is about. I'll message you with an update if you are still interested in playing it once we've optimized the game.

Thank you for at least trying and for letting us know!

There is definitely a charm to not having a tutorial and discovering things like when you first blast yourself with the fire shrooms. Need to find that balance. Glad you had fun!

Thank you for playing!

We'll definitely need to consider scaling for future releases.

Thanks for trying!

A recall button would be an interesting idea! We would need to somehow make it so it won't break some of the puzzles though. Definitely something to think about.

On a side note, I fed off the artwork so much for inspiration on the music and quite impressed as this was my first time working with the team so I feel you on this one!

Thank you for the feedback, suggestion, and for playing our game!

Haha, if you could imagine all of us on discord streaming what we were doing and checking in on one another going WOAH at each other's work. We definitely fed off each other's work for inspiration the whole way through.

Thank you for playing!

Wish I could have contributed more! *drops light bulb for sound fx* xD

Thank you for playing our game!

But it is!! Haha, this made me chuckle.

Thank you for playing our game and the response!

It is really wonderful to hear that everyone is enjoying our game, especially for me seeing all these mentions of the music! This was quite a surprise for me!

Thank you for the kind words and for playing our game!

I feel like the game jam brought out the creativity in everyone on the team for sure!

Thank you for the feedback, encouragement, and for playing our game!

Cometx5 already said it. xD

Thank you for playing our game!

As the musician and working with the team for the first time I was just as surprised that the dev/art teams did all that in 48 hours too, lol!

Thank you for the kind words and for playing our game!

Platformers have been making a comeback!

Thank you for playing!

File size too! I'll optimize the music better, which should help overall.

Thank you for playing and commenting!

Walk into the light! hehe. well yeah, that scene was definitely bright, I've been seeing them come up with ideas of how to keep the same intended effect without blinding our players.

Thank you for playing our game and for your feedback!

Thanks for the personal shoutout! I haven't gotten to play your game yet as I'm actually finishing a school film score project due tomorrow but I have it on my list to play on Friday. Looking forward to checking it out!

Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game!

This was definitely fun and engaging. levels were well scrambled and thought out. Great job!

I would have liked the space bar as an alternative option to jump if you ever get to updating it but wasn't really a huge deal.

Honestly, I can't believe it either! Funny how a deadline and random theme can drive a production.

Thank you for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it and will keep you posted!

I felt like I was on autopilot with the music and just doing something different from what I usually do, haha.

For the most part, I feel like we tried to implement a lot of features to keep things engaging. 48 hours wasn't much time to work out the bugs, but I feel like the feedback we've been getting helped bring attention to many things we may have overlooked.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing our game, was much appreciated!

Fun game, I'm not sure why but sometimes I had long pauses where the webs stopped shooting.  Was there an actual leaderboard or just a personal high score?

Enjoyed the game, thanks for sharing! Was linked to me via discord.

Great concept! Will definitely play more of it. xD

Was a first jam for the team. Lesson learned though, make time for a little gameplay guidance.

Part of the fun was that feeling of discovery though no?

Thank you for playing our game!

I am glad you enjoyed it and thank you for playing!

Lol, I had to check out your game after such a wonderful comment about ours. This was funny. I had to restart on the vertical stage with the rocks cause I got jammed between 2 rocks and couldn't move. XD Fun stuff!

That time limit was both a blessing and a curse (must get sleep)! I can only speak for myself but I felt like it pushed us to create our best work while forcing us not to overthink.

Glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for playing!

A direct comment about the music!!! THANK YOU!!! This makes me really happy! xD

Thank you for playing and glad you enjoyed the game!

I was literally streaming while composing this at around 3-4am in the morning on my twitch. We were all up just in the zone!

Definitely slept a lot after the submission.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the game!

Glad you enjoyed the game! With all this positive feedback I'm going to bug the team to make more of it!

I feel you on this one. There is a bit of an "AH HAA!" moment though when you do figure some things out on your own. XD

Would definitely try to find a balance for the tutorial there for the soul.

Thank you for playing!

Yeah, it's actually the team's first jam so this was such a wonderful experience. Definitely thought about adding a bit of a tutorial while watching the game upload right before the deadline.
Thank you for playing!

Thank you! We surprised ourselves even, lol!

All those things we wish we could have fixed while watching the game upload. xD
Thank you for playing!

With all the positive responses we've received, I'm hoping the team feels up to pushing the game all the way through!
Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game!

But it was! =D watch a replay of the dev from over the weekend on twitch.tv/glimmusic. It's mostly me composing but I have a little screen share of the team developing the game from the discord video share.
Thank you very much for the feedback! Great encouragement to go all the way with this one!
I think the tricky part at this point is making sure we have some solid progression and live up to what we just made. xD
Thanks again!

Tons of fun, I saved it to come back to this one. It had those Undertale vibes but was its own game.

Really enjoyed this one. Not too hard, not too easy but still fun and simple to understand.

I finally got to play the game haha! I'm a bit biased since I obviously did the music based on my name... 48 hours is tough... But this turned out fun. A few bugs but fun! We were definitely in the zone making this one.

Thanks to everyone who played the game!

(1 edit)

I think it's the one where you hit ctrl to crouch.

Hah! Level 4! then I couldn't even see where I was going anymore... it was off the screen for me.
